Our good friend Tyler was in another play..."Shrek."  It was by far our favorite play this season!  The whole cast was amazing!  

Within 5 minute of getting in the car...this girl was out!!!!

Church Picnic

Today we celebrated our last Wednesday night for the Spring.  We had a fun picnic on the church grounds.  We had a talent show, line dancing and inflatables.  The kids had a great time.  I was so proud of Caroline who actually got up and danced with the group. :-)

Today we picked up Jack and Grace from school.  Caroline has started running their driveway and loves it.  I let her out at the gate and she tries to beat me to the house.  Then she runs from the house back to the gate.  It's fun.  I hope she always enjoys exercise. :-)

Time with my big girl!

It's been a busy, crazy week. We haven't been at home, both girls are out of their routine and Caroline has had to be very flexible as well as give in to Maggie.  I cashed in on an early Mother's Day gift from my family and decided to invite Caroline to join me.  We had so much fun, just the two of us.  I love that she smiles and never says a word...she can join a converstaion and actually add meaning to it...she's growing up before my very eyes and I am so proud of her!  I am proud of her heart for others, her love for her little sister and her awareness of Jesus in her life!  I am blessed beyond measure to be her momma!

Just Because...

Today while at work, Jennifer called to let me know I had a package.  I was waiting for a delivery from Oriental Trading so I assumed that is what is was...imagine my surprise when I found out these beauties were MINE!  My sweet hubby sent me "just because flowers."  I honestly can not remember the last time he sent me flowers. (like before Caroline was born...that long ago!)  Usually he picks up a bundle at the grocery store which I love just as much.  However, every time I look at these, I smile because he knows me...knows what makes my heart happy...knows that I LOVE fresh flowers....and the fact that he used this bouquet to say I love you means so much!

Happy Birthday Granny

Yesterday we got to celebrate my sweet Momma's birthday!  We were able to enjoy the evening and not rush home.  It was SO nice not to have any commitments on Sunday morning.  Caroline always enjoys hanging out with her cousins and doing "country" things.  Everybody always has a buddy no matter what they are doing.  Makes my heart happy!

Miss Rachel

This is gonna be a crazy summer...3 of our early babysitters are getting married!!!!  Unfortunately Caroline doesn't remember some of them because she was SO small when they left for college.  However, she does remember Miss Rachel!  We had a fun time celebrating Miss Rachel today.  She is such a sweet lady and we are so thankful for the way she cared for both of our girls over the years.

I am reminded every morning when I wake this little one up that she won't be this little forever...it seems just like yesterday Caroline was wearing these PJ's and I was waking her up...these are the moments I don't ever want to forget!

Fun at Pop and Peeps

Today the girls enjoyed a fun day at Pop and Peep's.  It was a gorgeous Spring day.  Peep had given the girls some bubbles and they were enjoying playing with them.  Maggie was enjoying her sucker from Peep while her sissy blew bubbles her way.

It was also time to replenish the bird seed in each of the feeders.  Caroline was excited to let Maggie help. :-)

Emma's birthday and beach fun

My neice Emma invited Caroline to her birthday party at the spa.  Caroline was SO excited and couldn't wait to go.  The spa was down at the beach so we got up early this morning and headed to my mom's.  Caroline and the girls were off for their fun day and we had to decide what we were going to do while they were being pampered.  We enjoyed a beautiful day shopping outside.  Once they were finished, we headed to our favorite place the Hammock Shops.  Mom took the girls to play while Andy and I shopped/looked around.

While we were walking around, a lady suggested we walk into the actual shop that the Pawley's Island Hammock's are made.  This gentleman gave Caroline a lesson on how to string/make/create the beginning part of a hammock.  It was really neat!!

Grace's Play

Grace's drama class at school presented "The Lion King Jr." tonight at school.  Grace had several different roles and did extremely well in each one.  Caroline LOVED seeing her on stage.  Still trying to figure out how Grace grew up so quickly!!

Ice Cream Cones

About this time last year Maggie had her first ice cream cone at Great's house.  She LOVED it!  Ever since then, Great is sure to always have ice cream and cones on hand for the girls to enjoy.  They LOVE it!  It's just a reminder that it is the simple things in life that matter...that make the most special memories!!

Fun with friends

 My sweet friend Megan invited several of the neightborhood mom's over for brunch this morning.  She is an amazing cook and prepared an amazing brunch for us.  It was delicious!!! The oldest kids were at school while the youngest babies were asleep in their carriers.  The middle kids had a blast hanging with each other.  Thankful for the history we all share and that we get to do this season together! :-)

Maggie loves shoes...

Remember when I said she LOVES putting her shoes on and taking them off...well she will sit her for 10 minutes or more putting on, taking off, putting on, taking off...I am super impressed that she has learned how to slide the velcro piece through the ring/loop to fasten them. :-)

Happy 21 month old birthday!

Our sweet little Maggie is just 3 months shy of being 2 years old!!  I am not sure how this has happened so quickly!  However, we are enjoying the little monkey that she is!  She doesn't meet a stranger and for the most part, a very happy little girl, especially if she gets her way. She is very independent and loves to "I do it" all by herself.  She has a very large vocabulary and can pretty much tell you exactly what she wants.  I am so thankful for that.

Some of her favorite things to say:

• Shucks, oh shoot and goodness
• I hold you, when she wants us to pick her up
• Sit down, read book, when she wants us to read to her
• I got it
• Me do it
• My turn
• We all have new names-Daddy Doo, Sissy Sue, Mommy Moo, Lucy Loo
• I change, when her diaper is wet or if she has poppy in it

 She LOVES shoes!  One of her favorite things to do is put her shoes on and take them off.  She has also mastered taking off and putting on her socks.

Other milestones:

• She has finally learned to sleep...maybe...
• Caroline is teaching her about the potty.  She will sit on the potty while Caroline reads potty books to her.  She has pee peed a few times.
• She loves to play on Sissy's rocking giraffe
•  She LOVES ANYTHING that her Sissy has or is currently playing with
• She loves to give Lucy hugs and kisses
• Her favorite, must have before bedtime with white Luv Lu and her pappy
